I get that too, My rescue puppy Zephyr is half Aussie and half Border Collie, and I'm not even sure he has Aussie, but that's all people call him, one person even asked if he was a Husky!

I would have picked her for a German Koolie rather than a Border Collie as her eyes are that blue colour.

My girl doesn't even have the "aussie" color to her and I get aussie. Somebody told me that they had never heard of a border collie once. !?! Surprised the heck out of me!

Really fantastic colour combo, think i'm starting to fall for tri merles.

We get it allot with my neighbors border collies, she's a blue tri merle and people always ask if she's an aussie because she's merle with long fur.

I can tell she is...not the right build or head for an Aussie. I do like darker merles although not the biggest fan of tanpoints...still a very pretty dog
