I think he got quite the redemption in ORAS. I mean, after all, he's kinda portrayed as a person who is a sickly boy, younger than you, and not even self-sufficient enough to catch a low level Pokèmon. But, with all the new stuff, he seems so much stronger. And he is an inspiration, to others with disabilities and problems alike. He overcomes what is presumably Asthma (given that it seems to clear up in clear weather), and has taken the step towards the Elite Four.(possibly) He's just such a character now, and I adore that. (Wonderful drawing! Sorry for the long comment- Ehe.)
