basically a pokemon mystery dungeon scenario but what if they woke up still in their room.

Groaning, he cupped a healthy dose and splashed it into his face. He begrudgingly glanced into the mirror.

But an enigma stared back. He couldn’t even react at the surprising sight, he simply stared with jaw agape, water still dripping down his face. Dumbfoundedness, however, quickly turned to a flash of anxiety. His reflection in the mirror was certainly not the normal human that glared back at him every morning. Today, the face of an anxious Riolu gawked back. Blue fur, charcoal grey mask, big fuzzy ears, yellow ring round the neck, long dangling aura dongles and all peered back in the mirror.

He finally moved from his petrification, flailing his apparent new paws about. Surely this couldn’t be happening...could it? His paws found their way to his new muzzle, testingly tugging his cheeks out. Soon after, anxious happiness began to well up on his face.

The Riolu fell backwards from his internal freakout, landing on some towels.
