I use the d-pad. I'm quite experienced with pixel art and the drawing system in Splatoon 2, which is based on Pixels so it's my kind of thing (Doesn't have Facebook or Twitter due top it's generic-ness)

I know that the Switch has a touch screen but, I think you need a screen protector first.

You know I bought this game last week and I really SHOULD be playing it. The fandom overwhelms the hell out of me though. This game is really... hard to get used to. I even missed splatfest, although I was on vacation, but still I probably wouldn't have participated anyway.

it takes a while to get used to it, play the single player to get used to the game and then join the online modes. its pretty fun

Well like I bought the game when splatfest was THE NEXT DAY, so I was kind of intimidated. Meanwhile there's this notMiiverse furry WAR going on with everybody competing to see who can draw the prettiest MEMES for the game lobby, and I'm still getting over the slow movement speed forcing you to swim in your ink everywhere.
Also I SUCK at shooters. Put me in front of Halo, come back in two minutes, the xbox turns into a mashed potato and I've game over'd 60 times already.

Have you played the single-player mode yet? It does a pretty good job getting you used to how the game plays.
