And here we are, a gathered crowd, all patiently waiting. But for what? We do not know. What we do know is that the happening everyone is waiting for, hasn't started yet. Some grow a little impatience, others are almost asleep, others are telling stories (to sub audiences which aren't always that interested so to see) but the majority just stands there, doing nothing. Recognize yourself in it? Or your surroundings?(framed here fav.me/d4makrx in the UK)

very well done, adorable creatures. It's a piece you can look at over and over and always discover something new.
Plain at first look but very detailed. The black outlines only, limited features on each character work really well in this composition. I checked out the link for the colored version - nice, yes, but I prefer this one here - simplicity is the beauty!

Thank you Markus. They evolved over a period of about 16 years now into what they are today. In the beginning they had noses, ears, bodies even but I found out that all these parts are unnecessary for them to communicate and interact so all the crap was cut and now it's just eyes, mouth, face shape, and incidentally a hair, bow, horns but only for communication reasons

You know, if I tried to draw the exact same picture, it'd look stupid. But here, this is pretty freaking awesome. It's simplistic yet artsy and cool. I just love it. It's kind of funny how one thinks of their own art I guess. Totally cool.
