You are colorless to the eyeYou are cold to the touch
You are tasteless
You are barren and pure
You controlled your feelings for too long
You forced yourself to live this insignificant life
surrounding yourself with your own thoughts for so long
that now you are desperate to feel something
and you no longer can
You are so afraid to let it out
You are so afraid to let it flow
You are so afraid that things get out of your control
Because you've been doing it for so long
I try to convince you to take a chance
To open yourself, to show your true self
But i know that you don't want to be convinced
so i merely wait for you to realize it for yourself
Without putting something on the line, you can't gain nothing
You say to yourself that you don't need it
but i know you are only deceiving
Every day you deceive yourself
Every day you deceive me
Maybe i should just stop talking to this mirror
The pain of saying these things to me and not believing is too much
I smash the mirror to pieces with my closed fist
No more deception ever again

I can relate to this.... and thats kinda scary... I thought i was all alone, but somoene else out there is as confused about life as I am.

It just sort of happens to everyone. Just a matter of sharing the feeling to make it lighter on the chest. But i guess if we realize we have a problem, someday we'll fix it.
