Thats a bit of a contradiction, isn't it? I always defined snapshot by something not calculated but random and taken without any specific meaning or purpose.

on my mind, snapshot can be calculated (and have to to be a good one in the spirit of Cartier-Bresson), It doesn't mean not looking in the viewfinder
