Description Considered one of the best space vehicle manufacturers in the galaxy, Celestial Dynamics has been producing vessels now for the better part of six hundred years. Their designs are often simply and yet sophisticated and are marketed towards well-heeled shipmasters who favor efficiency over fanciful extras, and as such their craft are often designed for maximum efficiency at a cost that is both comfortable and affordable. Take for example the LGN-13 Logan Class Transport.

The ship requires a crew of two, has a side-mounted universal docking collar, and comfortable crews quarters located mid-body. The rest of the ship, with the exception of the motor assembly bays is for cargo, be it passengers or traditional freight. It is fast for its size, has light armament consisting of three bow-mounted torpedo tubes (see image and enlargement) and because of its shape requires an atmospheric force shield for atmospheric flight. Access to the ship is via the side-mounted hatch or an alternative dorsal or ventral hatch.

Considered a 'market entry' vessel as its relative cheapness makes it popular with newly graduated shipmasters who cannot afford a full-sized freighter, the LGN-13 is a smooth ride, and extremely reliable. The motor assemblies on the LGN-13 are off-the-shelf units so replacement and upgrading is as simple as taking the ship into any shipwrights for the work. It is outfitted with a Lexican FD9 subspace shunt motor assembly permitted thirty light year subspace jumps. The LGN-22 is space, subspace and atmospheric capable so can be landed on stations and planetary bodies.

These illustrations show the vessel in SECTION - that is, its interior. As seen from the bow (front - see image extreme middle-right) you can see the main deck, with much of the ships systems and mechanical elements beneath it. The ceiling space is predominately given over to fuel and environmental support storage. Defensive shield generators are constructed into the sides mid-body to protect it from hostility. Moving to the DECK PLAN (top central image) you can see the cockpit with its piloting and co-piloting stations. Aft of that is the airlock with its hatches, and aft of that again is the reactor section.

Port and starboard are the primary propulsion motors, while either side of the central body are the freight chambers.
