Description
When the Dau Imperium came calling, the Celvan weren't found wanting. They were a highly industrialized species of humanoid resembling upright bipedal ferrets who manufactured industrial machinery, technology and exported everything from ground cars to full-size industrial manufacturing plants (modular, of course). Naturally, Celvan, in the Histeria System was going to become a Dau target. Given their technological experience, the Celvan space combat forces put up a good fight, seriously decimating the Dau, but this was to win them only a brief respite of a few days before the Dau redoubled their efforts and managed to land and to occupy their world.

Forced to fleet and begin a guerilla conflict against the more aggressive Dau, the Celvan began manufacturing combat vessels in secret at underground manufacturing works, and among the craft that they constructed was the 404-H0 a highly sophisticated craft which initially was initially intended to be a drone bomber/fighter and it was put into service from secret launch platforms across the planet with devastating results for the Dau. Remote controlled, the craft carried thirty gigawatt energy cannons at its wingtips, and had four atmospheric/space propulsion motors. Its general shape was that of a flying wing. Certainly more maneuverable than the Dau fighters, it was utilized to do considerable damage to their base ships and the one carrier that the Dau had.

The Dau quickly adapted their combat tactics to deal with the drones, so the Celvan began fielding experienced combat pilots to also harass the Dau. They used a variant of the ship which was outfitted with a command capsule that could be ejected if necessary and used as a lifeboat. In all other respects, this craft was pretty much as the drone was. It could carry one person. This one has been outfitted with ordnance and heavy energy weapons, which were all fed power from an extremely compact ultramatter reactor assembly. It carried eight warpedoes, each with a two megaton warhead, and beneath the wings, two five megaton blockbusters.
