Description
In this image, the VUQ9 Adexdas Class Scout is seen from the front. Measuring forty meters long, and manned by a single pilot, the ship consists of a very large and incredibly sensitive sensor array located in the 'mushroom' head section of the hull, while the flight and defensive systems are located on and in the gondola on its underside.

Designed for corporate military purposes, this craft is typically ferried to a point immediately adjacent to another corporations space and then released, wherein the ship erects a sensor scattering field so that it remains undetected, while its own sensor emissions on a field-modulated inverse frequency compatible with the scattering field scans out into open space. The ships sensors have a maximum range of two hundred light years and anything worth noting within that zone is read and sent back to the ship where that information is stored on a molecular level storage core.

The ship also has stealth capability. If in the highly unlikely event it is detected on enemy sensors, it can instantly conceal itself by producing a subspace wavefront that causes the sensor emissions to be reflected out into open space, in effect causing the sensor emissions to appear to be scattered by a subspace pocket. Although such phenomena aren't unknown in space, they do exist, and unless an enemy takes further action, they are likely to believe that their sensor net has been scattered by the aforementioned subspace pocket phenomenon.

The ship can also conceal itself from visual and radiation detection by simply causing nearby space immediately adjacent to the ship's hull to fold or bend around the ship, in effect placing it inside a dead zone that should remain undetectable unless an enemy vessel literally falls over the ship and comes into close physical contact with it.

The vessel has defensive capabilities. A strong defensive shield bubble, matter and energy deflection capabilities, electromagnetic shielding, and aggressively, a compliment of forty ten megaton fusion warheads and four sixty gigawatt plasma cannons. If it should become necessary to leave an area, the ship has drives capable of blisteringly fast velocities, and a subspace drive unit capable of a forty light year jump.
