Description
In their early years of Outlaw Tek's resistance against the ultracorporations, they often relied on using captured and heavily modified hardware created by existing companies for their transport and combat needs. One such example of this was the Varis 66-0 Transport that they utilized as a means to move their personnel around without suspicion, and in time Outlaw Tek got to modifying those craft into something more deadly - such as the JJ9 Deacon (their classification) which was designed as a multi-role craft, and later a bomber.

Spoofing call signals associated with heavy transports, the JJ9 could infiltrate corporate space and travel unmolested unless closely observed. In this example we see a typical ship outfitted with an extended primary hull which acted as a passenger section (shielded against sensor scans), which had hanging from its secondary hull four plasma-warhead torpedoes (disguised as fuel modules). Using such craft Outlaw Tek launched a number of high-profile assassination missions against corporate targets with a 97% success rate, with a 99.7% loss of the vehicles involved as getting in is always easier than getting out when hitting well-defended targets but the crews expected and accepted this and considered it a sacrifice for the cause.

The JJ9 was capable of space travel, subspace travel (forty light year range), atmospheric flight and remarkably for a vessel from that era, the ability to submerge in liquid masses and descend to half a kilometer. Early Outlaw Tek bases were often located on planets with extensive oceans as this made them very easy to conceal from sensor scans.
