Description
Technology in the Fallen Worlds universe is akin to what might have been available in the 1980's of the late 20th Century, and this is reflected in the software and graphic user interfaces (GUI) of that era as well. The above images are what you might seen if you asked a computer system to bring up visual representations of sensor data on planetary bodies. As you can see the information is presented in a simple no frills format, just the essentials (as all information should be presented). The landmasses are shown as is the dark side of the planets, as indicated by the terminator line, and there are grids overlaid onto the planets to provide some three-dimensional perspective as these are flat screen images, not holographics. Light areas are land, while the dark areas are ocean. The circle outline on each of them indicates an atmosphere.
The planet on the left is Barafav in the Haesial System, a high security world that is predominately given over to banking clans, while the planet on the right is Prissm in the Kantahsga System, which is more than sixty percent ocean and only has one large landmass. Their primary export is rare earths, minerals, and precious stones and metals.
