Description Portable data terminals are a simple fact of life. Smaller, more compact and easy to use they are essentially portable computational devices that can be everywhere from educational facilities, to space stations where the people using them require a reliable and hardwearing piece of technology that can handle the daily stresses associated with being roughly handled. However, when not in use most of these devices are simply hung up on hooks, put into cabinets and other storage places, or more commonly, simply pushed back into a slot in a mounting that is specifically designed for them. These terminal compartments can hold between four and six terminals at any given time (the six unit is shown here) and once inserted the device is securely held with simple material traction until needed, wherein the user selects the unit they wish to use and pull it out. In actual working environments, these compartments are marked with a written label to indicate their purpose, or ownership. The compartment is also capable of recharging the terminals with an energy induction loop constructed into the flat panels that sandwich the terminals. You can see an example of such a device here: Portable Terminal
