Probably I'll be banned, and I take me as a fan of your work, but this is not your best piece by far... But there's always a lesson behind. You have posted several times on twitter and Facebook that this issue was made very quickly. How much time did you take to ink this page? And the entire issue (or the pages you did ?).
Not everybody can ink Jim Lee and obviously there's something behind this page that tells me that you were in a hurry here.

Since you're admitting to being an amateur; here's some advice. Keep negative opinions to yourself. You not only risk alienating a fanbase; but an professional relationships you hope to cultivate in the future. It's something I'm also working on. Although..can't say I've ever given a negative opinion out loud on anyone online. lol It's called "digging your own grave"...so yeah; work on it bro.

I didn't mean to take it personally. I was just trying to learn from experience. You posted somewhere that you inked this page quickly, So I was just asking for a tip in that kind of cases where deadlines are way too tight. No need to tell me about your paycheck.
I'm just an amateur inker trying to learn, not getting publicity.

well what was the point in you telling me this is not my best work? Why do people feel the need to think out loud? I've seen plenty of art by guys who's work I enjoy where i've felt other things look better, but never felt the need to tell them. My work is personal to me so some times as an artist we tend to take these comments personally.
Think of it this way. I walk up to you and your girlfriend and say "ouch, i've seen her look better than this." get where i'm going? we are all entitled to our own opinion but there are those golden moments you have to ask yourself "do i really need to say it." LOL! I'm sure your a good guy though so keep practicing.
