I love these movies too.
The Showa series is the funniest in my opinion (apart the very first one, of course). My personal favorite from the Showa is Godzilla VS Megalon. As movies I actually prefer the Heisei series, also because they had the best Godzilla suit (for me). But I also like the Millennium series... all the series have their pros and cons, so I actually like them all.

Love them all myself. Showa is definitely my favorite though because I grew up with those. I do love the others too. I even like Final Wars, which I just recently found out isn't a fav amongst G-fans. Even looking forward to this new US Godzilla remake.

About Final Wars I like all Gojira battles, but the movie as a whole is a bit boring (I usually watch it fast-forward) in my opinion.
The new US remake seems promising, I'd like to see an official trailer. I really hope they are not going to mess the character as in the '98 Emmerich movie...

Yup, that first US movie is pretty horrible. That's another thing I like about Final Wars, the REAL Godzilla destroys Zilla.
Maybe we'll see a American Kaiju renaissance with 'Pacific Rim' and the new Godzilla movie coming out. One can only hope!

It would have to be Ghidorah. Just something I love about the name "King Ghidarah" and "Monster Zero" along with the idea of giant three headed space dragon. Gigan is a close second.
