Description
In my 2D Design class in school, we were working with the idea of color theory. For my project, I decided to make mine of the evolution of the Star Wars clone and stormtrooper army throughout the run of the saga. I found that working with colors that are paired together in certain ways can be quite interesting.

The first segment, the Attack of the Clones armor, is using analogous colors. Analogous colors are colors on the color wheel that are close to and next to each other. Used a blue-green, blue, navy blue, and indigo.

The second segment, the Revenge of the Sith armor, uses complimentary colors. I used red and green.

The third segment, the armor from the original trilogy, uses a triad color scheme. Triad colors are three colors that are equal distances away from each other. I used a hot pink, baby blue, and a bright yellow.

The last segment incorporates the newest armor from The Force Awakens. It uses quadratic colors, which are similar to triad colors, in this case it is just four colors instead of three. I used a baby blue, peach, bright yellow, and purple.

This was one of my favorite assignments of the semester. I got to explore Adobe Illustrator more that I ever have before. This was all done using the pen tool, which I was never good with. But after this I feel I have a good handle on it. I call this piece "The Evolution of an Army.
