Listen mate, this isn't Mod. Gen. style. This goes for your other sprites as well so you might want to pay attention.
There's a clear black outline on the character, which in and of itself separates them from fitting within the style. If you clearly look at any Sonic-related sprite that you haven't altered, you'd see that nothing has a BLACK outline, but rather some colour or highlight to suggest or create its form.
The way you're shading isn't beneficial as well, as you're not taking account of a light source. From what you're doing, you seem to be suggesting that the light source is emitting from the centre, as everything around the outline is completely shaded. I recommend understanding how a light source works by making a circle/ball, placing a little sun on lets say the right side, and shade the ball with darker colours on the left side. As that's how lights and shadows work. :V
You've been stealing and using Mod. Gen. sprites without permission, and yet you haven't even noticed this??? I'm actually really ashamed to see some of the sprites be completely destroyed so you can make something.
Like my Charmy sprites??? Those were far from being done and I've constantly been working on and improving them, and I see you're using them to make Bokkun from Sonic X?? Not only did you not credit me, but you didn't even bother asking for permission? How negligent can you be??? Those sprites weren't open for public use, and to see you steal them and then use them for your own "gain" is really disgusting.
You clearly know who I am, as you and your friends have come across my Deviant Art and followed me, but if this is what you guys are going to continue to do: steal sprites, edit them and claim them as yours, refuse to ask for permission, neglect to provide credit, and even post sprites UNDER YOUR NAME --PUBLICLY-- THAT SHOULDN'T BE POSTED OTHERWISE.
Then I ask that you and your friends unfollow me. I can understand that you have no concept of ownership and respect for those who are working to create something for eventual public use, but to carelessly publicize these sprites and even claim them for your own??? I just can't understand how you can do something like that.
I don't mean to come off as a total douche, but you honestly can't expect to keep stealing and editing sprites without permission and lack of credit to the original artist. It's extremely disrespectful and I'm just trying to be stern enough that you understand what you're doing is wrong.
Everything I've said here applies for your friends who are "using" the various Mod. Gen. sprites as well. Learn from this please and consider your actions.

I'm not trying to spark drama with you or anything, but you need to be aware of what you're doing. Some of the sprites you've posted should not have been posted for public use. They were kept in secret for various reasons, some being that they are unfinished or are to be changed.
Hence why asking for permission to use something, and at least crediting the artists necessary is vital. If you can't use something, then please don't use it until you ask.
I'm bringing this up with you so that you can learn from this and be careful of what you post in the future.
You're Flowey sprites are totally okay to post, because YOU made them by yourself.
But posting my Charmy sprites with your Bokkun edits in one corner? The Bean and Bark sprites? The Dr. Finitevus sprites?? You didn't make those. Other people did (myself included)
Sure, you maybe added a pose or two, but that should be a separate file. You should have uploaded JUST those sprites you made, nothing else. You shouldn't have uploaded whole sprite sheets you had nothing to do with or didn't make.
So using your Bokkun sprites as an example, you could have uploaded ONLY your Bokkun sprites. Not my Charmy sprites. You'd still be in the wrong for editing and using my Charmy sprites without permission, but that's something you could have addressed in the description if you had bothered to credit me.
I'm trying to inform you so that you can better yourself about all this. I just don't want you to continue being disrespectful, as it feels like you didn't even know you were doing something wrong??
I have no problems talking to you about this if you want to better understand and even improve your sprites. I'll gladly help you out to move on from this and even help you with spiriting in Mod. Gen., but you also have to understand what it is you've done and what it means to those who worked so hard, only to see you claim and edit them as your own.

A: It's not even genesis, mate. Just because you're using genesis colours doesn't mean anything. You have to continue to practice and truly understand how those type of sprites are made. To call them what they're not is not going to help you improve, and it's going to hinder your progress.
B: I appreciate that you like them, but:
- You uploaded them under your name
- You failed to ask me for permission if you could even use them, let alone edit them
- You failed to provide credit not only to myself, the one who made those Charmy sprites, but also towards the Mod. Gen. Community and Deebs herself, who made the initial sprites.
C: I would appreciate if you didn't lie to me. This was all found on the account you have now, being Jonfinetails. That's your username. I don't understand what else your trying to say, or the relevancy of that link, but I'm addressing what you have posted on this account. If you have done this elsewhere, then please right your wrongs.
D: Well regardless, I apologize if I say anything offensive. I just want you to understand that you're showcasing your enthusiasm for the Mod. Gen. community in the wrong way. You can always talk to members you find and ask them about the rights and wrongs about posting things online, using other peoples sprites, so on and so forth. Don't assume.

I can understand your anger on the whole "Permission and credit" thing, I do believe he should've asked instead of presuming he could just go ahead with this operation. I mean, sure, these are "Meh" made and may not apply to "Mod.Gen." type sprites, but I guess the fate of it's left to both of you, not me. I just hate being shown this drama and possibly expected to get their asses out or even be shown it.

Take it as you will, but my comment still stands.
When making sprites, if you're trying to make them fit within a particular style, then you should be aware of how the style works. To make something and call it what its not will receive inevitable criticism should you bring this elsewhere. Even further, if you wish to even improve what it is you do, then constructive criticism is REQUIRED. Telling them to pay attention to the style and learn about light sources is as basic as it gets right now if they want it to fit within the style of Mod. Gen. Your comment there was highly unnecessary, as it's more of a fact than fate. :v
I see no reason for this to turn into drama, but more into that of a lesson. If you continue to steal and claim things as your own, neglect to as for permission and provide credit to the original artists/spriters, then someone is going to have to make it clear that what you're doing is not acceptable. If they've gone this far without someone at least addressing this to them, then they're going to be in for a lot of negativity should they continue.
I also don't understand what you're reasoning is for addressing your concerns, but it seems like you just don't want to get involved or see this? Then don't. If you're approached about this, stay out of it. Your concerns are your concerns, as mine are my own.
To be fair, I'm addressing those that my comment applies to. If they choose to listen to what I say and consider their actions, then that's their choice. If they choose to ignore me and continue to be disrespectful to everyone, including myself, who are contributing to the Mod. Gen. Project, then that's their choice.
