i kept this one from my Combat Mech Dopts after it landed in delisted. Also changed the background info slightly to fit story needs. ->

Drai Corporation had experimented with a few armored suits and transport units before going into the small-mech arena (mechs in which the bulk of the torso would fit a single rider, typically less than 10 foot tall). Their prototype Prybar was on the larger end of this classification, and its slower walking speed make it less viable than traditional armored vehicles. Still, there was enough tech here to attract the attention of anarchist/terrorist group Prometheus (tech to the masses). They've been using it alongside their own insurgent troopers ... with the limited success inherent to why it wasn't adopted by national militaries.
