As cute as these are, they don't look like they're very well made. I'm seeing a lot of jagged edges. The eyes in particular look kind of sloppily cut out.

They are intended to look like the cartoon- as if they were drawn. Sorry you dont like them

This seller came out after I made my Jake. I made my original Jake back in July of 2011, no idea when this seller made theirs ,but as I explained to another person who said my Jake looks like theirs- I made Jake from this pattern which I made for my sushi dogs products.
This Etsy seller opened their shop on Oct 9, 2011, well after I created my original Jake. I sold my first Jake on Etsy on Nov 25th 2011 (I sold a couple at Summer events before that) This seller sold their first Jake on Dec 13 2011. Also this seller sells theirs for $40. I sell mine for $10 to $15- this covers costs of the plush. Jake the dog's character is not my own creation - I do want not make him to profit from him, nor do I want to infringe on copyrights. I make him for fun, and for the fan's of Adventure Time who love Jake like I do.
You can draw whatever conclusions you want to from the facts.
I know that my pattern and style is my own- not sure where they got inspiration for theirs....

A simple "I made mine before their's" would've sufficed. 
I can see that it's kind've hard to make him much different if you make him in the "cube plush" style.
Also a suggestion. If you have photoshop bump up the saturation of the picture, try at least +22. I have a feeling these colors are much brighter in real life! This will make your picture much better.
