Now THIS is more like it! I've always liked Nyabingi color (purple), but the rest of her outfit bothered me for some reason. The joint coverings wasn't working for me, even thought I think that they could work on another character. I made her dreads longer, even though dreads can be a mother to draw. I've also took a liberty of designing a spear for her to use, but I don't know if I goona keep it of not. THe rest pof the re-design works well IMO, and I'm interested to see how it goes over with viewers. I personally think that this will be her permenant look.

Nyabingi

Born the daughter of a oarsman, the identity of her mother was never known, but rumors were spread that she was a snake deity. Early in her life, Nyabingi took to hunting the local livestock like an hungry lion with only her bare hands as weapons. As she got older, she started hunting lions and packs of hyenas, again using only her bare hands and natural ability. Men around her village became jealous of Nyabingi and plotted to have her killed. They chose to burn down her hut at night while she slept, but they failed. For the next year, the men involved in the plot took missing. There were no evidence of kidnapping or a cover-up; they simply disappeared. Local gossip tied Nyabingi to the disappearances, but there were no evidence of her involvement. A short time later, she disappeared from the village, never to return.

Nyabingi later showed up in Thaizai, Ghana, where after several victories over more powerful foes by herself, the Thazaian king himself extended an invitation for
Her to join the Thazai military. Feeling that she didn’t have anything better to do, Nyabingi accepted the offer. She took and passed the exams that is required to join the elite force of the Thazai military, the Siafu Kabila. Although Nyabingi , now going by the title Viper Girl Nyabingi, was an effective operative on her own, she had a rebellious streak when it came to following orders, especially when team leader Ostrich Girl Rubani was dishing them out. Eventually the two had a falling out over differences in the way missions are carried out, and Nyabingi left the Siafu Kabla and the Thaizai military.

She turned up years later in Farqual, a city in Zarie, where she was responsible for the assassination of the head priest, whom to turned out was slaying young people to sacrifice to his voodoo god. Since then, Nyabingi has been tied to the assassinations of at least twelve priests, kings, and other authority figures. She also been involved with the extermination of various monsters and evil spirits that plague villages in central and east Africa.

Tools and Weapons: Spear, knife, throwing blades, grappling hook w/ rope, blades hidden within gauntlets mounted on her wrists, poison, various magical items magic bow.

Powers/ Abilites: Nyabingi’s blood was magically enhanced though unknown means, granting Nyabingi, enhanced stamina, agility, strength, accelerated healing, and boosted bioelectric nervous system She uses many spells and relics to aid her in her missions.

Bio-Electricity: Due to the supernatural nature of Nyabingi’s blood, her nervous system has been elevated beyond that of any living being, allowing her to use the electric impulses as offensive weapons. With concentration, Nyabingi is able to generate up to 10,000 volts for up to ten seconds. Normally, Nyabingi generates around a 1,000 volts whenever casually using her powers. Nyabingi has the ability to “charge up” inanimate objects with her bio-electricity, which is used as a stunning aid with her handheld weapons, or transform objects such as her throwing blades as impact weapons that explode upon impact with a target, or as a proximity detonation device.
