Belated thank you and I haven`t shot many scenes as such but I think a good live view focusing system (like on the 70D) was/is a good aide

Ahhh!  Good deal on the sun making a much needed and anticipated appearance   We've had a couple nice days here and I'm itching to get the garden but it's wayyyy to early for that here

I can relate to not having much in 2014 to post--I haven't even picked up my camera except to move the bag in 2 months I've got loads of time right now but a 'honey-do' list a half-mile long!
