Description
A vertical take of the Urban Ant farm, aka "Lloyds of London",ever so slender slightly off-kilter.Annoyingly you only have to lift your butt to fart and you can ruin your carefully composed frame with a fisheye, not saying that was the case here,I was well behaved
Have a good one, thanks for looking
Canon 40D
Samyung 8mm Fisheye
Single Tonemapped RAW file
Lloyds,

Hmm... somehow I'm missing the right words to describe this. It's just stunning! Really good HDR tonemapping.
I never thought that the Samyung fisheye is that good because it's really cheap in comperance with other fisheye lens.

Danke my friend,I`ve found the lens excellent value for money,it doesn`t have auto-focus but you really don`t need it on this particular lens

You're very welcome!
You're right, I think autofocus is unnecessary for landscape and architecture photography.
Someday I will buy this lens

Although I'd consider this "fake HDR", the image is just awesome! I love this colorful, very detailed fisheye shot!

I look at it more as easy-mans or lazy-mans HDR
Ideal world,it would be awesome to set up as you desire and fire off multiple shots but Tripods aren`t allowed in this particular build so next best thing is a toned RAW file, thanks for the good praise friend

Yeah, what the heck. It looks good.
I can't imagine any reason not to allow tripods.

that building is a statement in time and for London, and
also for me cos i was studying that time when it was being build,
stunningly captured the "factory"element of the "office",

Thank you friend,it impressed me very much and I was really surprised when I saw a Documentary on it just how old it actually is

Philluppus In reply to JonnyGoodboy [2011-03-16 20:24:10 +0000 UTC]
hahah, now..., that's how old i am....,
anyway, the whole design, architect, the building and the maintenance is a documentary worthy,
(btw, i was wondering, is it open for public?)

One weekend per year in September,it`s part of London`s "Open Weekend",I think Lloyds was only doing it on the Saturday last year though, when I took this
