Description
First trip and play with my 8mm Fisheye lensHad a real mixed bag of results this day, there`s no Auto Focus and the Manual I found is quite subtle and you don`t need to be far off to get a non-crisp shot, but It`ll be a permanent feature in my cam bag and I`ll really enjoy playing with it on my City trips.
Dedicated to my special girl who treated me to this toy for Xmas
Thank you for checking this one out

Congrats on your fish eye lens !!! I cannot imagine what you'll be coming up with. This photo is spectacular. Love the bluish shade and how crystal clear this looks! A fantastic place for having a relaxing drink in the middle of the day...

Thank you M,it is a grand viewpoint,as you can see though,it was a bit of a washout whiteout grey kinda skyline,so didn`t take any Cityscape shots because of that

Focus spot on here mate... wow.. what a great shot. Sharp throughout as usual and the slight bue/green color to the image adds to the overall atmosphere of impersonality and isolation. Great shot as always xxx

The lines are great and I like the blue-ish tinge.
Wider angles are on my agenda too. There's a company advertise a 0.7 converter lens in the press but they don't do a 67mm version. Will just have to wait until I get some more cash and treat myself!
Cool shot though, Jon!

true, you start to see things through different eyes.
I had a 10mm 2.8 Sigma. But I just sold it, as I hardly ever used it. Hope you use yours more often

It certainly would, the day was grey and whitened out with lots of mist this day but given the right conditions, should be a quality view from there
Thanks Sergio

That's my favorite kind of days mate, gloomy and cloudy. Sun makes me old and irritable.
Plus, overcast is my favorite light situation!

Seiglie In reply to JonnyGoodboy [2010-01-30 01:32:15 +0000 UTC]
Well, yes, of course. You like sun because you have it on the adequate quantities. I prefer overcast rainy days, because normally here in Cuba is always hot, sunny and humid as hell, all year long!

This was one of those white out, grey misty days, not the best for the viewpoint, should be great if you catch the right conditions though
Cheers Chris

Maaaaan, Im so jealous! I have my eye set on a fisheye lens but the budget of a full-time student is slim. Have fun with it!
