Description
I can look at this and can easily envision a herd of Triceratops & Bronto`s happily grazing alongside a bunch of other otherosaurases many many moons and suns ago.Titled inspiration from those classic shit Doug McClure Prehistoric monster movies from the late 70`s early 80s I loved as a kid
Anyone else liked those...
Thanks for looking, have a good one

Watch it if you get the chance. I don't really know if it can stand up to scrutiny by today's standards but I remember it as very memorable.

You allways amaze me Jonathan.
The contrast between bright blue sky and the dry earth.... magic!
did u use any kind of fitlers to get that amazig colors??

JonnyGoodboy In reply to starg691 [2011-03-30 17:09:43 +0000 UTC]
Gracias Silvia,I always use a Circular Polariser with my Scapes (excellent for darkening already blue skies and bringing out cloud detail, think of it as a pair of sunglasses for your lens),that is all, during post Processing,do the usual things of boosting the contrast or tweaking the levels and often boosting mid-tones which can really help bring out the details in the scape

starg691 In reply to JonnyGoodboy [2011-03-30 20:24:21 +0000 UTC]
Thank so much for the info!. I also tend to use polariser filter when I do landscapes but the brightness of this one actually surprised me!
Anyway, this work is brilliant and I think I'll try to apply your post-process technique to my landscapes in the future( if i ever got time to shoot new ones! ).
Thanks again ^^.

Oh yes....I remember the films only too well....mehhhhhhh.
Extremely splendid compo on this one....I do love the contrasts with the colours and the way it draws you around, not only the obvious way towards the centre and the lake, but also around as you keep comparing the different tones.
Brecon is wonderful...maybe see you there over easter with (fingers crossed) a new 550D!
