I am using a 40D and I hope to buy a 10-20mm (or something close to that) lens in the new year. The Canon lens is about ยฃ550 from Jessops which puts it firmly beyond my means, at the moment. Sigma lenses seem to be more value for money in the shorter term. Which lens are you using here?

I`m using the Canon 10-22mm and add it for I think ยฃ440 from Jessops,taking into account the cashback and more cashback I negotiated at the time of purchase in the shop
I don`t think you`ll be disappointed with the Sigma though and I`d advise going for that

The photo... is mystifying again. I cannot escape the spell of such ancient constructions, and the cloudy sky reflects
the tragedy of the fate of those who ended here.
Not long ago I read a fantasy story of a Prince that had been set up by a magician. The magician had killed his father, the King, but all the proofs led to indicate that the Prince was the one who had done it. The tower of this story was 300 meters high (not sure how much in feet) and even if this one is shorter,
I can absolutely picture the loneliness and the dispair that someone being imprisoned here could feel. The windows would show the freedom that the prisoner would very probably never enjoy again, making it still harder to bear.
Of course, I am being romantic. I hope that those who were kept here, deserved it all along...

I am so much better Jonathan. My classes are almost over so that stress is gone. I feel very good about my grades. Now I can just focus on work and my kids coming home for Christmas, and getting outdoors with my camera.
