Custom Built High Frequency Bladed Broad Sword. The Weapon of Choice for Seporian clan members who specialize in damage per strike.This particular model's design is actually very popular. Because the center of the blade is hollowed out and the forward cutting edge of the blade is rather thin, the HF effect is considerably increased for that part of the blade. The heaver tip makes the blade have much more force behind it's strikes while coming down on an enemy, and the teeth at the bottom help with ripping apart pieces of targets when turning the blade's HF field on and off.
The HF field for this blade is a modified version of a standard High Frequency blade which makes it ideal for use against un-calibrated Plasma Energy Blades. Since the frequency across the blade varies in and of itself, guarding against it with an equal amount of resonance proves difficult.
Effectively the major drawbacks of the sword is it's obvious cumbersome size and relitive weight compared to other HF blades. However at only 0.9kg for the weight of the entire sword, the size becomes its biggest issue. In addition the blade can only clean cut using the forward half, as it requires an extension piece to support the additional resonance required to vibrate the whole blade. On the plus side, the extension piece doubles as an additional hand grip, giving additional guard support.

So, what would win in a fight, this or a Lightsaber?

If the Lightsaber was a double edged type (the kind used by Darth Maul in Episode 1) then the Lightsaber would win due to the speed. The Lightsaber is ligher weight, and wielded by Jedi who have the Jedi abilities to help with combat intuition while attacking and blocking. HF blades however are used by Seporians who are extremely strong and very nimble. Seporians also use their image-cloak suits while in combat to fool the enemy. However Jedi would have no problem dealing with that.
Because Lightsabers (much like Akutenshi Plasma Cutters) use concentrated plasma, HF blades can guard against it. the plasma is unable to burn the HF blade due to the frequency rate of the blade's surface. Effectively however, the plasma blade can slowly dig past the HF blade.
Its more useful to have a Plasma Cutters or Lightsabers for Melee Combat. However HF blades are more useful for actual cutting. HF Blades clean cut targets without applying heat, where as Lightsabers and Plasma Cutters use kenetic force and heat to cut through their targets. When HF Blades and Plasma Cutters are in contact, Plasma tends to break out from the Magnetic shell that keeps the plasma in a blade form and creates a loud 'Schkrackkkkkssskkk' kinda noise.

It actually is future oriented. So far all of my work only takes place in either the Altermeta Universe or the Sci-Fi oriented Natra Universe

Yes, HF blades are very must Natra Oriented. HF Blades are insanely incredible. If a species is not magnetically inclined, HF blade technology is the way to go in way of standard non-mana-based melee weapons.
