LOFOTEN, NORWAY, EUROPE
The Lofoten consist of about 80 islands. They are located far north of the Arctic Circle but due to the Gulf Stream the clima is rather mild. Coming here, you will be entranced by majestic mountains, deep fjords, soft meadows and beautiful light.

I was there 2 years ago, in June, but unfortunately, there was very low clouds and we didn't see the top of surrouding pikes... the atmosphere was quite different : azagh.deviantart.com/art/Reine…

I actually don't know. We saw a few of them around the place - I think it may have been something to do with Christmas. This was taken about a week before Christmas in 2012. I can't find any information on it on google though. Good question! Also, I was back in July this year and it was still there, but not lit up. So maybe it's a permanent kind of thing, but they light it up for christmas?
