And what does that have to do with the snake's color pattern?

Sorry. I didn't mean to apply to your old post.
His pattern is just fine for a corn snake.

Poisonous means a plant, animal or substance capable of causing death or illness if taken into the body. Venomous means capable of injecting venom and some species of snakes are venomous not poisonous. Venom is stored in glands while poison is sotred in body tissue, in the poison the toxin is delivered by ingestion/absorption but besides this corn snakes are harmless and useful snakes since they eat rodents that harm crops.

Nope, not poisonous!
I love snakes, but I'm always on edge near them because I just don't want to get bitten by one (poisonous or not).
With that said, this snake was actually the most docile snake I've ever seen. I had no problem getting super-close to it without fear. Under staff supervision and handling, it was allowing several children to pet itself at once, without flinching (or really moving much at all). It's clear that this snake is handled every single day by people that care.

Whew, that's a relief. That's awesome that you don't aren't afraid of them. I have tried for years to over come my fear of snakes but I have never been able to do it. The last time I was close to a snake I was taking a walk around my neighborhood and found one on the sidewalk. It was big black one and it was staring right up at me, I suppose waiting to see what I was going to do and I slowly began back away from it and when i knew I was safe distance away from it and I just stood there and watched it as it slithered back into the grass.
