At times a picture is worth a thousand words, and sometimes a thousand words is worth a pictureThis is from Vaeru/~mythical-darkener 's Juxtaposition [link] specifically from On the Care and Feeding of Humans [link] which is a series of side stories, even more specifically from the chapter "Toys."
I read this scene and have been itching to get the image down on paper. Poor Bluestreak has the worst luck. And I know Transformers can't blush, but... aw come on! He looks so adorably miserable! XD

XD I loved that chapter! It was great, poor blue. I took me a minute to see the string in the picture, as I am only 3/4 of the way awake. I had to reread the first sentence of toys, but when I did I saw the string. I feel so sorry for him, the poor thing. *snickers*

Hopefully when(ever) i get this colored, I'll make the string stand out more (after all it'll be PINK in the midst of greens and grays).

Yeah, the story's awesome! I usually don't like OC's but that story is just plain great. Poor Sideswipe. Poor Sunstreaker. Poor lady!!
The side story's are equally as good. I loved the one where she's on that time of the month...but the first one is my favorite. I hadn't realized humans were so fragile until Ratchet started listing everything that could go wrong.
"She can overdose on water, for Primusβ sake."

Ah, k. I'm glad it was a misreading and you have read it. (ranting... about Jux? Oh, I have no problem with that, none at all! 
I know that in reading it, I always find some new line, or scene that I fall in love with every chapter. I always think that it can't get any better, and it does!
I think I feel the most sorry for Ratchet having to worry that he's doing everything wrong and one orn he's going to wake up from recharge to a puddle of organic mush. Although Evelyn has my immense sympathies for having to deal with both pain-in-the-afts brothers, and... well... just being stranded in the middle of a bunch of (masculine) robots in general. The poor thing.

But yes, poor Ratchet. The latest one in the side story is rather sweet. He gets all protective of Evelyn and decides to take it out on the D-con prisoners...I went 'Aww'!! (mind, I felt sorry for the girl too. All bruised up because some mechs wanted to play hot potato with a 'fleshy'...our bodies are so not made to deal with something like that...)

Yeah, I know. What I would give to be in her situation (at least she wound up with the Autobots first, imagine what would have happened if the Cons had succeeded in capturing her... and then the Autobots rescued her... *kicks at the plot bunny*). Of course, I'd only want to be in that situation, knowing what I know now.
It was, wasn't it! (although I think he's always been protective, remember how he ordered Bluestreak away when 'Jack blew his lab up) The D-cons deserve it! The Cons are being kept phenomenally in character (as a people, considering they're all OCs, I think), I can see them doing all of this.
I can only imagine how it felt for Evelyn to get so roughly handled and then bruised afterward. ^^

The D-cons deserve everything they get...::glares...at most of them:: Yeah, the D-cons are amazingly IC as a whole. I almost thought they were canon...shows how good the author is. I wish my plots and characters were as straightforward and engaging as hers...
