yay! finally finished -- my half of a trade with *panatenshi

this took me so long, oh my god. i've been working on it bit by bit for the past week or something and i finally just decided to get off my ass and complete it tonight. i'm really proud of the results.

this was inspired by a picture of serial experiment lain. laye just reminded me of that anime so i checked out some of the art from it. i used a drawing as a reference, sort of, but this was all done freehand w/o tracing. i just needed some help with the perspective and the sky. the lighting is way off, but i like it that way. creates a nice contrast. so yeah enough babbling. detail shot here: [link]
