With the spooky month upon us I figured it'd be a good time to start posting designs for another original series I've been wanting to make. This here is the main protagonist Mervin Fritz aka the Gremlin-Man himself.

Mervin Fritz is a 14-year-old teen prodigy living with his single Mom, younger sister and his cat Tesla. He's an aspiring inventor but his inventions often malfunction and cause chaos (think like Jimmy Neutron), this combined with his odder tendencies was considered an outcast in school and often a target of bullying. Then one night while his mother was out, the power in his house was acting up, so he went outside to check on the power box. Where much to his shock he discovered a real-life gremlin that proceeded to bite him, causing Mervin to gain the ability to change into a human/gremlin hybrid. This leads into Mervin gaining an interest in the world the paranormal, so now he spends his nights fighting crime and various supernatural threats. Mervin typically has a dry deadpan attitude but as Gremlin-Man he takes on a much more manic and demented attitude. He scares criminals with a combination of his monstrous appearance and acting like a maniac.

For Gremlin-Man's powers and abilities, he has your standard issue superhuman strength, enhanced senses, and Spider-Man levels of agility. Also, like Spider-Man Gremlin-Man can crawl on walls along with a gremlin-sense. He can also spit acid and eat through just about anything. In this universe gremlins are naturally born cyborgs, so in his Gremlin form parts of Mervin's body become cybernetic and able to transform into a variety of different tools and gadgets (think like Inspector Gadget). Other cybernetic abilities include the ability to emit electricity as well as various type of visions with his cybernetic eyes including X-Ray, Night, and Infared.

For Gremlin-Man's design I of course wanted him to feel gremlin like but I also made his suit look like an old school pilot to evoke the origin of gremlins dismantling planes back in World War 1 and 2.

Edit: Decided to throw out the "G" emblem on his chest and replace it with buttons.
