Stress has nothing to do with it. What you need to realise is that making comments like that about a young lady, is insensitive and uncalled for not to mention utterly disrespectful towards Jordan.
Even if it were meant as a joke, it was still done in bad taste and I believe you owe her an apology.

I realize that this happened a few years ago. You're in a really, really tough spot and I feel for you man (not in a hey I'm moving to a new continent feel for you way 
You're daughter is beautiful and she's going to attract much worse dickheads and seriously dangerous losers by putting herself out their publicly. Hell, even if she didn't model, the same would more than likely happen, but you're going to give yourself a heart attack and a hell of a lot of stress if you even think about it.
It's good that at least in this case, you were there to stand up and defend her, her honor if anything, but the best that you can do is to be sure that she knows how to thoroughly take care of herself meaning handling fuckers like the idiot who made the comment and even more important physically defend herself.
After that, all that you can really do is count on what you've taught her and your faith.
She actually did the right thing by ignoring him. She can always hide those comments.
