If you haven't noticed, I've been slacking lately on the Warriors fan art. I was honestly losing some interest. But I FINALLY got and read The Sun Trail, and I loved it! Of course, the first part and the middle was very slow paced, but the last few chapters where really just...
(Why did Storm have to die? D: I might have to do her some art next... Seriously one of my favorite Warriors characters now.) Anyways, this is the scene literally RIGHT AT THE END OF THE BOOK. That quote is the last sentence. XD I love it, because the kitten is actually THUNDER, who is the future 'founder' of ThunderClan, and I think it's really cool that he has such a destiny ahead of him. And Gray Wing is willing to take responsibility for him, even though it's his jerk face brothers kit. Yeah, Clear Sky is a big jerk, but I actually like him as a character. NEED TO DO MORE FAN ARTAbout the artwork...
Ehhhhh. I really can't decide if this is one of my better drawings or one of my worse. I did the shading differently and I dunno if I like it or not. I think it's a better approach, I just need to work on the technique a bit more. And the background...
I whipped it up in like 20 minutes. I really need to work on backgrounds. Which is actually why I plan on doing a series of background practices before I do anymore of this kind of stuff... It's a series of novels. (6 per series, there are 4 series out right now, the fifth series only has one book out so far.) There are some mangas that along with them though, along with Super Editions and Field Guides. Looooottttsssss of books! XD

Aww! The cuteness! As much as I hate Clear Sky, he's a really interesting character, I have to admit. I loved Storm, Turtle Tail too! I don't get why **SPOILER ALERT!** Grey Wing doesn't like her! She's so sweet, I really wish she didn't become a kittypet.

Yeah, Turtle Tail is a really sweet cat. Gray Wing was wrong to not like her, although, I really wished him and Storm woulda worked out. :S I loved those two as a couple! And thank you!

I didn't read that far into the series, are these characters from the cats of the past, the ones that Jayfeather communicated with through the tally stick? And that's where thunder originated from, and he went on to create thunder clan?

Basically so. And yes, this is where Thunder comes from, before the clans even existed. I highly recommend reading the new series, you don't even have to read the others since it's a prequel. xD It was slow for the most part but I really enjoyed the last several chapters. I'm getting a little old for Warriors but I DON'T CAARREEE XD
