Personality and background
Seth is a peaceful Esk, convinced of the circle of life. He was once a tiny lizard, always in danger and preyed upon by predators. He lived close to human ruins, to take advantage of the cover it provided. But the ruins were also the hunting ground of an eagle, always hunting him.

Seth knew he would probably not die of age, but eventually be picked up by the eagle and brought to its nest. He was at peace with that, after all he too was a predator to the ants and locust in the deser. This was how it was supposed to be. Even when it came true, and he was finally wounded by the eagle, he fled to cover just in time to escape the eagle. He had closed his eyes with shocking breath. Another Esk saw him however and offered him another path, one he had never once considered: escape the circle of life, and live on as an Esk. Though hesitant at first, he finally accepted the transformation, his curiosity sparked by the prospect of life after death. But by choosing this alternate path, his well-earned peace was also gone.
