Description
This is the colored version of my pattern that you can find in greater detail here, as well as in easier to work with symbols. [link] This is pretty much so you get the idea of what it looks like without all the lovely symbols. It's Link from The Legend of Zelda game series. If anyone actually does this pattern I'd really like to see it! :'D
EDIT: Two people did it~! :'D tehcouch: [link] Also, my friend BossCandi did a blue tunic version here: [link]
Link is Nintendo's, not mine.
Pattern is mine.

I'll see if I have the colors to make this. Won't be exact, but at least kinda close.

I'm thinking about doing this for my boyfriends brother. His birthday is coming up and he LOVES Legend of Zelda. So Link would be a perfect present. Thank you for sharing this.

This is an awesome pattern. Wish I had the time and enthusiasm to do it again in other colors.

Great pattern! For those of you who can't cross stitch, I use patterns like this to color on graph paper. Turns out just as nice! It's really nice for games that have been pixelated, like Pokemon and Legend of Zelda.

Wow, thanks~! :'D
And I never thought of that. I suppose if you didn't cross stitch, it'd be nice to do something fun like that. ^.^

Ah! Yes they have. ^.^ A friend of mine did this for Link's Zora tunic. It turned out quite nicely. :3 Here's the link~ (bad pun xD) [link]
It makes me happy to see it put to use. I'd been meaning to do it myself, but, as usual, I never got around to it. x.x I really need to try making another pattern sometime. I've been too inactive lately. xD

Ooh, I like this... When I reach the next milestone for my big project, I might take a short break from it to do this...

Reached my big milestone! I've already worked out which colours to use too.
Question: I'm considering using blue or red instead of green. (seeing as I already have a green Link cross-stitch...)
Which do you think I should go for? Red Link, or Blue Link? (I've already decided the colours for each version, but I can't really decide which one I want to go with...)

I've always been fond of the Zora tunic, since I really enjoyed the water temple. (mainly because of Dark Link xD) Blue sounds the best to me. :3 Good luck, and definitely show me when you're finished. x3

Dark Link was pure unadulterated evil. I rage-quitted Ocarina for several years cause he killed me so many times. I only managed to finally get some payback on the 3DS... But I never really found the rest of the game that hard... It was just that one sub-boss battle. (The bastard's harder than Ganondorf.
You're in luck. I was just getting the colours out of their box before I went to bed, so I could start first thing in the morning. Decided to check quickly if you'd replied yet...
Blue Link it is!
(The next Link Cross-stitch I do will be the Red Link, so I have the triad of tunics.)

Pfft. When I first did Dark Link, I used my head. I used some strategy, yo. I'm not even sure how I pulled it off at a young age. xD I started jump attacking at him, and always thrashed wildly directly afterward. This way, when Dark Link started to copy me with this fighting style, it left him wide open for me to side step around and hit him. Yeah. I was an awesome kid.
Plus, whenever I played Super Smash Bros. (the N64 one xD) I would always take the blue tunic Link if someone else was playing Link too. Or just for the heck of it. Always liked the Zora tunic. And Squirtle. And the color blue in general. xD
Triad of tunics, eh? I saw your previous Kokiri version and quite enjoyed it. Where do you generally put your finished cross stitch stuff when you're done, anyway? :3

I hate you. It took me years to finally get past that jerk. I spammed Din's Fire until I ran out of magic, drank a Potion, spammed more fire, then finished with maybe two sword hits...)
Yeah, I like Blue Link too. He can breath underwater, which is something I was wish I could do... (not being able to swim and all...) Shame that he can't use the sword underwater though...He'd be UNSTOPPABLE!!! And blue is awesome. ( )
Thanks! Well, the Green Link is currently between the pages of a book to keep it flat and safe. The Pikachu is framed and hanging up near our kitchen. The Link's Awakening shield is rolled up in a tube, cause I'm still looking for a place that'll frame it cheaply. (I kinda botched the framing I did on the Pikachu one... it's sorta crooked...) And my two large works-in-progress are sitting in their frames. (collecting dust, in one case... I regularly go over it with a lint remover though. That's the one I put on hold when I started work on the bigger, more complicated one.)

A bookmark... that's not a bad idea. I must file this away into the dark recesses of my mind for later reference. As for framing stuff, that makes sense, especially for dust-collecting large projects. xD I actually framed a puzzle once to hang on my wall. (Blue Exorcist 1000 piece x3) It makes good wall art especially since you put your heart and soul into creating it. xD I need to find an awesome pic to make into a big project sometime. It's been a while since I did a major cross stitch.

If you do decide on a large project... Be prepared for a lot of pain... My arm keeps seizing up on me every other day...
It's worth it though, cause they're really starting to look amazing!
Oh, and I slept in this morning. Until 1:30pm, actually... But I've completed two colours, (of the greys) and I'm about to start on the third. (had to pull some, cause I missed out on one little stitch... grrrrr)

Gah. That's right. Using fine motor skills comes at a toll, doesn't it? Especially on our psyche when we mess one little thing up. xD I suppose I'll stick with my current project for now, but I think I'll start browsing large pictures to make into patterns just in case... >:3
1:30pm? Psh. I slept in 'till 4:30pm today. BOOYAH. And very little got done today. xD Looking forward to the finished product. :3

I ended up staying up all night last night watching a Captain Planet marathon for Earth Day... My childhood was loaded with lame puns...
And I suddenly realized how dirty some of their lines were... 0_0; I kept giggling.
Anyway, I finally went to bed at midday, and woke up at 7... (2 & 1/2 hours ago...)
I did manage to get to the (roughly) halfway point yesterday though. 10 colours down, 512 stitches left to do! I'll finish it tonight, so stay tuned!
