In one fan-fic Yakko had to emotionally deal with Gertie dying of natural causes. In another ,Gadget, the last of the RR. pays her respects to the graves of the others and that of her evil counterpart Lawhwinnie for being such a worthy foe.

With the reboot coming in 2020, the question is whether after the Warners and Pinky & the Brain, will the others follow.

Some fan-fics have dealt with a possible reboot. One even stated that, after retirement,Β the three had to be kept apart, separated by thousands of miles, as theyΒ go berserk-bonkers!- if in proximity. No cellphone contact even. Once reunited for the new show, they were to be kept apart & out of communication with each other, when not filming a sketch,
