One legend was that Cupid & Death * got their arrows mixed up and somtimes Cupid, meaning well accidentally KILLS somebody that he wanted to just fall in love, and Death ,carrying out the Fates' orders to strike down him or her, inadvertantly causes said octogenerian to - fall in love ,instead!
