Heather - Similar to the Rocky movies; he was a low-level fighter until he got a shot with the champion. He gave him a good battle, and that boosted his career.

Heather- Probably, except that DJ had to 'build up' his boxing instinct. He used to be a bit of a wimp; I helped him with that.

Heather- I think he used to be a wimp because he was too aware of his strength and that he could hurt someone with ease if fighting back.

Heather- Yeah, that's actually something that happens at some schools when bullies target a large guy because they know he won't fight back out of fear he'll really hurt them and get expelled.
(True story; this happened to me a lot in Elementary and Junior High. I was among the tallest and heaviest guys, and I had a full scholarship. Fighting and hurting another student could get me expelled, so I was an easy target for bullies and pranksters. The VERY few times I fought back, the other guy ended very badly injured. I once literally broke the other kid's face, and his mother almost got me expelled from school; after a few experiences like this, I got just too scared of defending myself.)

(Not easy. On the bright side, I built up a lot of patience, and that helps me these days as a medic. Also, I developed my sense of humor.)
