"The females, visibly angry over this rejection, start physically punishing their male companions, to the point they will either abandon them, justifying the females' decision to find better, suitable mates; or discouraging the males into repeating this action ever again. Remarkably, one male shows impressive restrain and has a normal, non-hormonal interaction with her; the Furricus Minkans is appreciative of this behavior, and shows a cordial response towards the male's own female mate. Said mate is show to be extremely appreciative of her male companion's behavior, which guarantees a long, physical and emotionally satisfactory relationship."
