You can use the script Zeus Lights and Shadows forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.p… but i think that lighting in the pic is added in photoshop

How do you do The color full lights and the sun?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose1208 In reply to AnimeGirl1219 [2013-04-01 23:59:48 +0000 UTC]

The colorful lights are made in a single image on Photoshop, with transparent background, just pick up a soft brush and start making points wherever you want, then put layer styles on the points and make gradients on them, you can add more effects to this points by creating new layers and pointing above the desired point with a white-softbrush in overlay blending mode.

And the sun, as I said in a comment below: "Polygonal lazo tool + gradient tool in Photoshop. Oh, and some soft brushes, then I applied a lot of color adjustments to make it look as the final result."

And that's all, I guess... xD

Jose1208 In reply to Nebelstern [2013-04-01 13:42:56 +0000 UTC]

Polygonal lazo tool + gradient tool in Photoshop. Oh, and some soft brushes, then I applied a lot of color adjustments to make it look as the final result.

If I remember correctly there are three pictures of the light source... The three of them makes a radial movement with events on the RPG Maker and the result is very realistic. Maybe I upload it someday.

Not so shaby.
The BigBen Tilesets work quite well here and it's nice to see that there is shadow accordingly to the lighteffect...whatever that may be XD

Amazing work, I like how did you use the lights and the shadows.
But... maybe it's too bright XD What is it, dawn?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jose1208 In reply to Saul12 [2012-10-03 22:40:29 +0000 UTC]

Yep, its like mid-day, the shine variates, its an engine (events xD) that modules the shine. This is the "middle point" of the shine, so it'll look better in action.

Interesting work with the shades, that's something we sadly don't have the chance to see very often in RMXP.
It really adds a new level of depth in the overall visual, so I hope you'll continue to work in that direction. There's a lot to do with shading to enhance RTP's graphics ^^

Im glad you like it, ill keep posting new scenes in this days, keep an eye on it.
