I created the character.
He is one of the main protagonists in "Celestial Dusk".
His race is known as the Biomechs:
-6-7 feet tall
-armor almost impenitratable
-all ('cept Tom) has a strange desire to destroy all humans.
To tell him apart from all the other biomechs, the coalition knights gave him a big red coat.

Once my book is published (Which is a really long and frustrating process), I could give you a copy.
But for now, I will tell you what I can.
The letters "T.O.M." stand for "Tactical Operations Machine".
The Raptor T.O.M. (also known as T.O.M. unit-084) aquired the name from the coalition knights after they saw him in battle fighting with single 3 foot claws on each of his hands. His race is known as the "Biomechs", though his race originated from the union.
The union is a group of different spiecies of aliens (like the covenant in halo) who want to wipe out the entire human race beacause of their "sickness" that they were spreading. That was what started the "Biomech War". Raptor T.O.M. was born then. Technically, according to him, he was never born. Only built. His mother was captured while pregnant with him, and while she was getting her "Bionic surgeries", he ended up being born a robot.

at the age of 17, he ended up becoming good freinds with a scientist/mechanic named Dr. Frost, and made a promise to protect his family with his life.
Unfortuneatly, 3 years later, Dr. James Frost was captured by the Union, and raptor t.o.m. found his wife, murdered and clutching a small bundle. When he turned the body over, the bundle let out a pitiful cry.
It was a baby.
Raptor t.o.m, remembering his oath, escaped the planet through some ruin teleportation portals before it was destroyed by a black death known as "the celestial dusk" (title of book btw).
He then landed with a boom on another planet in a different galaxy, only to almost be shot down by the coalition knights. They stopped when they heard a baby's cry from inside his coat. He gave the baby to captain Tazmosa... and then vanished.
Captain Tazmosa named the baby "Xain Frost".
Xain Frost always saw a gold eyed eing in her dreams every night, but never thought they could be real... until near her seventeenth birthday... the raptor t.o.m. returns...
thus ends my explanation and thus starts the beginning of the novel.
