I love the blend of the hyper-femininity in her face, which is beautiful and soft, and the tattoos on her arms and her slouchy shirt. Typically, women are portrayed one way or the other, soft and pretty or hard and masculine. But this captures how a woman can be both, and it's a really gorgeous piece.

i've got to say that
i'm not too impressed by the fact that the title of this is addiction
and its just a pretty lady with a sexy look on her face holding a starbucks cup.
I feel like you could've either worked on a stronger way
to portray the concept of "addiction"
or get rid of that idea entirely because this feels
a little Hollywood with the whole "just throw
a hot girl in there and it will be fine"
but regardless, this is just my opinion.
aside from that,
she is very this photo has wonderful lighting and the model
is superbly beautiful.

Interesting. Well the title is play on words in the sense that coffee is one of America's biggest addictions. I mean Starbucks makes millions a year from those that go and buy their coffee there, just as other coffee companies make bank on selling their coffee beans. It's not meant to be taken as the "beautiful girl" is addicting...though I'm sure to some men, she is ... it means that no one, (not even pretty girls) can do mornings, or morning shoots without a cup of coffee.
Anyways, thank you for the actual compliment. All the lighting was 100% natural (from a huge window and a cloudy day). Alysha just got lucky I guess. She really is beautiful.

Maybe its referring to the Starbucks, that's what I like to think. Starbucks for some is very addictive

oh yes, I know that it's referring to the starbucks cup,
where I live we have starbucks mirroring eachother on the streets.
the people here are zombies for it.
What I'm trying to express is that holding a starbucks cup with
a model in the background isn't really "addiction" to me.
It doesn't really work on the concept of addiction and rather
it's just a sexy girl awkwardly holding a starbucks cup.
But this is all just opinion anyways so no matter
