this one is more powerful.. the bound feel is pouring from the straps where as the windows made by the negative space makes it more haunting and surreal. stunnning.

I find the background in the other to be too distracting. My vote goes to this photograph because of it's neutral background, diffused flooded lighting, and better use of the frame (not to mention b/w is my favorite photographic medium).
