Description Well, this is going slow as fuck, but between the classes and some idle time in which I've been beating Starcraft II to get ready for its expansion, I haven't been drawing too much. Also this drawing and its shiny metal shadings are literally eating hours while I try to perfect how to color them. D:

Soooo... Here's another WIP of my witchblade picture. I don't know why I feel like posting it everytime I add a little change, but since is for free, here ya go. <_< I've also put the previous WIPs of this picture in my scrapbook so I don't have that mamy around. Kinda felt like it too, I guess today I'm doing things on a whim. >_>

In the previous pic I showed how I was starting to shade the silver parts of the Witchblade, and also added a sketch of how I would color the gems. In the end I didn't really like how the metal was turning out, since my intention was to give it a less polished hue to give it some contrast against the golden areas, which should look more shiny and smooth. I wanted the silver parts to look more like raw, old, beaten iron, so I remade the shades a couple more times until I was happy with them. The golden parts weren't that hard, and I think they turned out pretty well. In case of the gems, I also remade them to give them a more "gem'ish" look. You might notice that some of their colors have changed now -or not-. I don't really have a plan on which color is which, I just try to give the red gems a bit more presence since in the comic the Witchblade usually has these gems bigger, but keeping the blue ones visible.

Now next part should be more straightforward: hair and face, which supposedly I have more practice than shiny stuff. I gotta shade the "blades" of the armor too, which I wanted to do so in a bit different way... And then let's see what I do with the background. <_<
