this is a wonderful shot. the eyes are really the focus here, and i love how you've emphasized them. it adds to the innocence. the sharpness is wonderful, because we can see every little detail in the hair and face. the other child in the background adds a lot, but the DOF makes it so that our main focus is still the first child, and is not distracted by the second. great contrast as well. a wonderful shot.

very good capture. I'm always a fan of hi-contrast images but I think you've overdone it just a bit, opening up some of the shadows might be a good idea.
