Description
Commission WIPThis is part of a larger image that will include my Sith Princesses Ariel and Jasmine dueling the customer's original character. I need to redraw Ariel, she didn't look like herself first time I drew her, but Jasmine came out okay.
Edit ***Dec 11, 2010
Trying to make some headway on my commissions. I've added the base colors for Darth Jasmine. Per customer request I gave Jasmine a mid riff (more befitting since she had a mid riff in the movie) and redesigned her lightsaber just a bit, other than that she's basically the same as I first drew her
**** Update**** December 29, 2010
Slight modification. Jasmine is showing just a bit more skin per customer request
***Update April 2, 2011
Just a small update. Nearly finished coloring Jasmine and switched out the blue saber blade with a second red one per customer request

Good work, as is all of your art. But I still prefer the original of her better.

Wouldn't Jasmine wear black if she was a Sith? She'd be just as sexy in that color.

I admit I liked the more fully-armored look of her, Mulan was just a kicker of butt all over that she'd be like that... but I'm not the client, so I get no say. (Plus, she really is rocking those talons. Rar!) Even so, this is excellent, excellent work! I loved the take you have on the 'Disney Princesses.'

Since I hadn't done any shading or highlighting, yet, it was a pretty easy color swap

This is looking mighty fine! I haven't kept up on DA for a while, so I'm just seeing this one for the first time today. What are the chances you could make the black parts of her arms and legs bare as well - just changing the black to her skin color?
Awesome work!

I'm glad you're liking it. That's a fairly easy modification I can even change it back if you change your mind. Let me know what you think

Tell me something, do you sketch on paper or on tablet?
I mean, how do you combine individual images?

I draw and ink almost everything on paper. If a body part (legs or an arm) don't fit on a page I draw them on a separate sheet and when I get everything scanned in I use Paint Shop to put everything together. I have thought about getting a tablet but I still need to get a new computer so that's a long way off.

You know, you should really make a separate gallery category for your Sith Princess-related work.

Well, since this is a commission I'll have to check if it's okay with the customer before I can post the lineart
