Continued from my WIP stages here [link]While I inked it I made Jan's features Asian which I did not do when I sketched it. Then I "flipped" the image so Kyle's shoulder pad is on the correct shoulder.
Unlike my Aayla - Kit Fisto pic I did not do this all in one sitting. I spread out the process over a few days last week
. Drawing characters who are touching each other isn't very easy, at least not for me, so that's something I definitely want to practice more.***update*** Auguast 27, 2008

I have much love for Kyle and Jan... I hope they make a return someday... right now they are getting shadowed by the Force Unleashed game. I like that character too but there is till room for Kyle

I know I'm commenting on something old, But I love your art dude. Top notch. I've added about half your art as favs lol. I'm just wondering if you're ever gonna color this cause I'd really love to print out and blow up a colored version of this to use as a wall poster. Anyways still freaking nice job.

Sweet I love it. I cant wait to see it finished. I only have one complaint about this one. Kyle's shirt seems a bit to pinkish. I hope you finish it soon cause this is one of my favs. Man you do great art dude.

It looks pink to you? It's the same color I used for my other Kyle pic. But then I haven't added in the shading and highlights to this one yet so that should make a difference.

Yeah I thought that would be why. I think I'd just seen the other one with Kyle and thats finished and this one looked pinkish cause it doesnt have the highlights and shading done. Ah well. Can't wait to see it finished. Then I'm gonna blow it up and use it as a poster.

Heheh, I like drawing my characters, especially if they're Force users, to be very fit. But I think I would have to draw them much bigger before they look like they're on 'roids.

One thing though, IMO, it looks like Jan's Hand is too deep in Kyle's gut, like she's squeezing him hard.

Fantastic - kinda feel there's a definite shortage of Dark Forces-related fan art. Love this one at any rate. Love his lightsaber too

Thanks. Kyle does deserve some props for kicking ass in video games long before KOTOR came out. And Jedi Outcast was the first game to truly make you feel like a Jedi

Very true. I still routinely go back and play through the original Dark Forces all the way through Academy. Best series of SW games ever!

I never did play any of the Dark Forces games, but I did see sereral clips of them on youtube. Especially the live-action cut-scenes. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have known Kyle used to have a green saber.

I wish I could say I did this pic all in one day, but I took it easy with this one. I think I did the first rough sketch last Monday, or Sunday. Just got around to inking it earlier today.
