Continued from my WIP stages here [link]While I inked it I made Jan's features Asian which I did not do when I sketched it. Then I "flipped" the image so Kyle's shoulder pad is on the correct shoulder.
Unlike my Aayla - Kit Fisto pic I did not do this all in one sitting. I spread out the process over a few days last week
. Drawing characters who are touching each other isn't very easy, at least not for me, so that's something I definitely want to practice more.***update*** Auguast 27, 2008

Two of my favorite SW EU characters of all time, or even just SW characters, period. Love this. Composition is great and you absolutely captured their badassery. lol Thanks for sharing!

Cant wait to see the final version. Its gonna be sweet. Kyle is my favorite SW character. I prefered the story in Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight but the story in JO was a really damn good way to sort of round up Kyle's story. Would be kool to see you try your hand at Kyle from the NJO.

Your hero/heroine drawing is perfect for Star Wars. I must say, that Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors are my couple, even if it's Jedi/Non-Jedi. LOVED Jedi Outcast, what a great story.

Thanks. I like them too. And I liked Jedi Outcast alot too. Though at times it did seem a little too long. I wish it didn't take so long to get Kyle's lightsaber and that there was a little more interaction between Kyle and Jan

I know, right? I personally am a big fan of Dark Forces, being the only game involving Kyle Katarn that never involved a lightsaber. But, I guess it adds to the narrative if there were words left unspoken between both of them, it creates dramatic tension. Especially at the end when he sees her alive again! It was a long game, that much is fact.

Aw man, I have got to show this to Darth Comrade man, he'd love it! Well, I love it too, but Katarn's his favorite character so he'd probably go up the wall. Don't know what's up with him though, he hasn't gone online in a month, and if it weren't for his HK-47 impersonating brother being so calm I'd probably be worried . . . Anywho, as always I can't wait to see the finished product.
