Everyone who's played the game knows where this scene takes place, but for the others; this is Revan's challenge right before her final duel with Malak.

Once again I just stole an image directly from the game (it actually took a good ten minutes to get the droids grouped together with their blasters pointing in a certain direction to make it seem like Revan was surrounded) but it did save about 5 hours of me having to drawn these droids, the background, and color everything .

I got the idea for this pic from FalconFan's comment on one of my other Revan sketches. She knows what I'm talking about . Thanks.

Oh, lovely Revan in her best! Wonderful! She's so great she (almost) convinced me that female Revan is better than male one I use to play... And she uses two lightsabers, even better! I play KotOR mostly for two handed fight, because it looks soooo great (and yes, I'm sort of munchkin, so two lighsabers means four crystals ).

OMG, this part took forever and i died so many times it's not even funny. I finally just unlocked the door to Malak and went straight to him. I still can't beat him though so I guess that's not much better... ANYWHO, great picture!

Oh man, I hated this part. I didn't know you where just supposed to go to the door Malak used and open it ASAP, so I fought the infinite stream of droids... for 4 days... and then looked at a walkthrough.

Hehehe, I've never tried doing that either. But then each time I've played the game I usually have enough computer spikes on me to disable all the droid generators, and create a couple battle droids on my side, .

Revan (male or female) is one of the best characters ever created in the Star Wars universe. Her story is very original and very cool.

Great work!! I love the pose and Revan's face expresion. And the lightsabers hilts aren't the same
In the full-size resolution of the background is... well to be honest not very good. But in general it's another great work made by also great artist!!

Yeah, I don't have a way to get clear screencaps, and then I have to enlarge those caps to about 3 times their original size in order to fill the background, which also loses quality. But what they lack in quality they make up for it by saving me hours of having to draw and color a background (and in this case I didn't have to draw the droids either ).

Whoa. This is the first time any of my pics have gotten a hundred, much less over a hundred, pageviews on the first day they were posted. Yeah, I'm probably a little happier than I should be about this, considering there are serveral artists out there who get about 10,000 views the first day they post new pics. But I'll take any bit of happiness where I find it .

Neither can I . She's certainly become the definitive version of Revan for me . And I've never played the game with the character-model she's based on (I just started a new game with her . . . . about 3 weeks ago and just barely left the apartment on Taris for the first time). But then I've been busy drawing all these pics of her .

Its okay, its not a bad habit! Mine is slightly different. Mine is also female, though her hair is cut short, but long on the front, covering the right side of her face.

I think I know which model you're talking about. She seems to be one of the more popular ones, I've seen quite a few clips of her on youtube. I like my women to have long hair .

Agreed. Thats one of the first times I saw Revan. But those good ones were deleted. Don't get me wrong, I love this model as well, its not much of a difference. Except that the pony tail you gave on this one & I like it. I also like the name you gave her, its defiantly better than mine. One problem remains, we need to convince Lucas Arts that Revan was female since we want it so badly.

I do wanna see an animated series of KOTOR based on you art style.

Thanks. That would be something to see, my character designs in an animated show. But with the current trend of bastardized anime in animated shows today (The Batman, Legion of Superheroes, Ben 10, and almost every new show that isn't real anime -- or as I also like to call, characters by people who can't draw ), I seriously doubt anyone would try to make more "normal" looking shows. Not even by Gargoyles or X-Men: Evolution standards. The only good animated character designs out there right now are the DVD movies Marvel has been coming out with the past 2 years, and Bruce Timm's Superman Doomsday is looking pretty good as well can't wait for that to come out.

And I wish I could tell you how I came up with my Revan's name, Chayla Starcross. Actually, "Chayla" might even be one of the random names you can pick, I'm pretty sure "Starcross" isn't.

And I don't really want Lucas Arts to offically make Revan female. I just think they f***ed up when they gave her a gender. I strongly believe that canon for Revan and the Exile belong to each player who plays the game. So yeah, that's just one of a few "official canon" details that I ignore .

I don't watch those kids anime stuff anymore, I watch more mature anime stuff. Well, I still like some kid stuff, like Digimon, The Batman, & and Ben 10 are good enough for me.

Another thing, I don't understand. If you believed why Revan was male, then why did you make your version female? But no worries, I respect your opinions. I know you have your reasons.
Although, I do agree with you there (sort off).
I don't really like all the Canon facts, although, I dislike the non-canon version. But in all, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

You know, if I ever succeed in becoming an animator, I believe I can get the facts turned to Lucas. I am desperate to get a job there.

What I mean to say about Revan, is that she shouldn't have an "official" gender either way. The powers that be forcing a male Revan on those of us who are female Revan fans, like myself. And forcing a female Exile on those who prefer a male Exile. In otherwords, my female version of Revan shouldn't be any less real than another person's male Revan.

Some of the animated shows have good stories, like Legion of Superheroes and Teen Titans, I just hate how they look. I've never watched Ben 10 and I refused to watch The Batman (being spoiled on Batman: the animated series I can't accept such a poor substitute).

And while I know how animation is done, I'm not an animator, but I do wish you luck in your pursuit .

You know, I totally agree with you. I have to admit, it is becoming an idiotic conflict between despite Revan & The Jedi Exile's genders. :$ I hate to say it but it allures me. But I do bring out my opinions peacefully. If it gets rough, then I'd get out of it. Have you seen Casino Royale? Daniel Craig as James Bond? And the fact that M was supposed to be a guy, but they made a woman out of the character! There was riots on 007 forums everywhere. But as soon as everyone saw the movie, lots of people liked it! This would be my example to get the facts changed.

Awesome!! (...and glad I could be of assistance! ) This rocks--I totally agree that your ability to render great lightsaber duels is fantastic! There's just a tremendous amount of dynamic energy here, from her pose to the hail of fire she's managing to deflect--awesomeness! And like I said before: the screenshot b/g works just fine here (for me, anyway! )! Too good not to!

I need to decide which fight I want to do for my first saber duel; not just "snapshots" of a duel, but a fight from beginning to end. I do have a few options right now. Revan/Malak, Jaina/Jacen, Young Bastila/Darth Someface (no name for him yet ), Revan/Bastila, and my Padawans against a sh**load (I'm from Texas that is an acceptable unit of measurement ) of Dark Jedi. I already have all those duels pretty well mapped out.

Good saber-fights are important, and you really have the skill to show them Damn those lightsabers are well-made! I have such a hard time trying to add lightsabers to my own pictures... I think I asked this before.... how do you create the ligtsabers (the blades)?
The only program I am not totally unfamiliar with is photoshop cs2... It is so hard to find a good tutorial for lightsabers...

I'm glad you like the pic. Unfortunately I don't have photoshop, but I've seen a few tutorials for creating lightsabers with photoshop and it's fairly different from the way I do my lightsabers with paint shop. If you go to youtube.com and search "lightsaber photoshop" you'll find some really helpful tutorials.
