Had the show been allowed to continue I'd like to think Shayera would have eventually become Warhawk, a legacy that would pass down to her (and Green Lantern's) son. This is just my interpretation of what her Warhawk armor might have looked like.Related content

That would've been an awesome storyline. At least this concept can be used in fanfiction writing, so there is an upside.

Yeah, to bad they didn't continue on the show. That's always the case. Animated series never last more than three maybe four full seasons (The only good show I can remember is the old X-men from early 90s)
I would definitely see her as a Warhawk. But since she already shown her face, it's a shame she has to cover it up again since she really do have a beautiful face.
Btw, do you know how old Shayera is? And how old a thanagarian person can be?

I didn't make it up completely. I did use Warhawk's armor (as seen in the LJU eps "The Once and Future Thing") and of course Thanagarian uniforms as references. I just did a little mix and matching. The color is just a slightly bluer gray from Warhawk's armor. My thoughts are that Shayera, still shamed at betraying her people, would take her old uniform and reforge her armor into a new outfit, keeping her helmet and gauntlets very Thanagarian, while the rest of her armor would lean more towards what would eventually evolve into her son's armor when he reforges the ninth metal for himself when the mantle of Warhawk is passed down to him.

There seriously needs to be a movie or two. I mean, they did a number of Batman and Superman ones after the series ended...and JLU isn't finished. There were some dangling threads that I need to see resolved. Sigh. Or maybe I just miss JLU way more than is healthy. Either way, niftay pic. The claws are interesting. Wolverine-esque...

If I'm not mistaken Bruce Timm and co. working on a couple of projects for DVD release. Though I don't think it's the same continuity with Justice League.
And those Wolverine claws are totally within JLU canon. Hehehehe, I'd have thought a big fan such as yourself would remember this . . . .

Hehehehehe. Severe punishment indeed. Starcross is definitely my favorite Shayera story, followed closely by "Wake the Dead". Then of course "Shadow of the Hawk" if only for that dress she wore, hmmmm. Uh, sorry, went away for a moment there.
